Madurai Math observes the Navaratri festival from 26th September to 5th October 2022. The worship of Divine Mother Sri Sri Durga will be performed during Navaratri days with Puja, Chanting of Devi Mahatmyam, Bhajan, Lecture, Pushpanjali and Arati.
Madurai Ramakrishna Math conducted Akhanda Nama Japam on Sunday 7th August 2022. Swami Kamalatmanandaji lead the Nama Japam from 8:30 am to 13:30 pm. Around 210 devotees participated in this event.
Madurai Ramakrishna Math conducted Akhanda Nama Japam (Continuous repetition of God's name) on Sunday 5th June 2022. Swami Kamalatmanandaji lead the Nama Japam from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Akhanda Nama Japam concluded with Arati to Sri Ramakrishna.
Maha Sivaratri was celebrated with great fervour, in our Math on 1st March 2022. Special Pooja, and Bhajan were conducted throughout the night, from 7.00 pm to 5.00 am.
The 187th Jayanti (birthday) puja of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna was celebrated in our Madurai Math on Friday 04th march 2022. Special puja began at 7 am and Homam was performed around 10.15 am. Bhajans were sung during the Puja time.
Maha Sivaratri will be observed at our Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, on 1st March 2022. Special Pooja, and Bhajan will be conducted throughout the night, from 7.00 pm to 4.00 am.
160th Jayanti of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, on Tuesday, 25th January 2022. The celebrations started with Mangalarati followed by Vedic chanting and bhajans.
The Birthday of Swami Vivekananda according to English Calendar, 12th January 2022 will be celebrated as National Youth Day. 160th Jayanti Tithi Puja of Swami Vivekananda will be celebrated on Tuesday, 25th January 2022.
Ramakrishna Math, Madurai celebrated the Kalpataru Day, a day-long programme on Saturday, 1st January 2022. A Special Puja to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna was performed and Bhajans on Sri Ramakrishna were rendered.
The 169th Jayanti (birthday) puja of Holy Mother Sri Sri Sarada Devi was celebrated in our Madurai Math on Sunday 26th December 2021. The celebrations started with Mangalarati followed by Vedic chanting and bhajans.
We celebrated Thirukarthikai Deepam on Friday, 19th November 2021 by lighting a big Deepam at temple prayer hall around 6 pm, followed by chanting “Arunachala Siva Arunachala Siva..” (Namavali),up to 6:30pm. Bhajans were performed after evening Arati.
Deepavali will be celebrated on Thursday, 4th November 2021. with special Puja to Mother Sri Kali. The special puja and Bhajans will be performed from 7:00 pm onwards after the evening Arati to Sri Ramakrishna.
