Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, celebrated Kalpataru Day on 1st January 2025 with special puja, bhajans, homa, and a discourse by Swami Arkaprabhananda on Sri Ramakrishna’s divinity. 620 devotees participated, received prasad, and engaged in meditation during the auspicious time.
On December 22, 2024, Ramakrishna Math in Madurai celebrated the 172nd birth anniversary of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, featuring puja, bhajans, and a discourse by Swami Nityadipananda. Around 820 devotees attended, concluding with an uplifting evening celebration.
On December 13, 2024, Ramakrishna Math in Madurai celebrated Karthikai Deepam, a festival honoring Lord Siva. The event featured an Arati to Arunachaleshwar, followed by the lighting of a Deepam at 6:00 PM and the singing of Namavalis until 6:30 PM.
On October 31, 2024, Ramakrishna Math in Madurai celebrated Deepavali and Sri Kali Puja with spirituality and joy. The evening began with Arati and a special Puja honoring the Divine Mother. Devotees chanted bhajans and made offerings while the temple glowed with lamps.
On October 16, 2024, Madurai Math celebrated Sri Sri Lakshmi Puja with a special puja dedicated to Sri Sri Lakshmi Devi, soulful bhajans, and Nama Sankirtan. A special Arati was performed to Sri Lakshmi Devi at 8:45 pm, invoking her blessings for prosperity and well-being.
Madurai Math celebrated Navaratri from 4th to 13th October 2024 with daily recitations of Sri Devi Mahatmyam, Bhajans and Special Puja. A series of insightful lectures on the Glory of the Divine Mother (Sri Devi Mahatmyam) was held from 5th to 9th October.

On 8th March 2024, we celebrated Maha Sivaratri at our Math with a night-long Special Puja and Bhajan session, starting from 7.00 pm and concluding at 5.00 am. Devotees poured milk (Abhishekam) to the Shiva Linga after the first Prahara Puja.

On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Ramakrishna Math Madurai celebrated the 171st Jayanti (birthday) of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. The day unfolded with Mangalarati, Vedic chants, and bhajans. Devotees engaged in Temple Pradakshina, a sacred circumambulation, from 6:30 am to 7:20 am.
On the 24th of November, 2023, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai celebrated this auspicious occasion with great devotion and joy. A grand Deepam was then lit in the temple prayer hall around 6 pm, symbolizing the presence of the Supreme Light within and without.
