On 26th February 2025, Maha Sivaratri was celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Madurai with devotion and grandeur. The night-long observance began at 7:00 pm and concluded at 5:00 am, featuring Special Puja and Bhajan sessions.
Devotees performed milk Abhishekam to the Shiva Linga after the first Prahara Puja, expressing their devotion through sacred offerings.
The Lingodbhava Kalam, was marked by Temple Pradakshina to keep devotees awake and encourage participation in singing the Lord's name through Nama Sankirtanam, filling the atmosphere with spiritual fervor.
The early morning Homa commenced at 3:40 am, followed by Mangalarati and Special Arati at 5:00 am, bringing the divine celebration to a serene conclusion.
Prasadam was distributed to devotees at the end of the program, with over 200 devotees partaking in the sacred offering, making the celebration a spiritually uplifting experience.
