On Sunday, March 31st, 2024, Ramakrishna Math Madurai hosted a comprehensive health awareness programme, attracting 184 participants eager to learn about maintaining good health.
Ramakrishna Math Madurai Sarada Vidyalaya, in partnership with the Eye Foundation in Madurai, organized a complimentary eye camp on March 4th, 2024. A comprehensive screening was conducted for a total of 572 students during this event.
On 24th September 2023, Ramakrishna Math Madurai conducted a healthcare awareness program with the aim of educating the public about the benefits of Homeopathy, Yoga, and healthy food habits for their well-being. The program was a great success with the participation of 193 attendees.
A blood donation camp was organized by Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023, at the ashrama premises. Forty-two people donated blood on that day. The camp was conducted with the help of Rajaji Government Hospital.
Sri Ramakrishna Math, Madurai conducted a Health awareness programme on 4th December 2022. Awareness classes on Yoga, Homeopathy, and Naturopathy were conducted by eminent speakers on respective fields. A Total of 172 people benefited from this camp.
Ramakrishna Math, Madurai conducted Free Eye Camp on 21 March 2021 with the help of Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. 205 patients were screened. 55 patients have been diagnosed with cataract problems and were done cataract surgery free of cost. 45 patients received eye eyeglasses.
Ramakrishna Math, Madurai conducted a Free Eye Camp on 21st February 2021 in a small level. Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai helped us in conducting this camp. 212 patients were screened. 46 patients have been diagnosed with cataract defects and were done cataract surgery at free of cost.
Ramakrishna Math, Madurai conducted a Free Eye Camp on 24th January 2021 in a small level following all the COVID 19 protocols. 138 patients were screened. 22 patients have been diagnosed with cataract defects and were done cataract surgery on 28th January 2020 at free of cost.
We conducted a Free Eye Camp on 20th December 2020 in a small level following all the COVID 19 protocols. 88 patients were screened. 15 patients have been diagnosed with cataract defects and were done cataract surgery on 24th December 2020 at free of cost.
