On Sunday, April 7th, 2024, Ramakrishna Math Madurai held a special program in honor of the Most Revered Srimat Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj, the 16th President of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, who attained Mahasamadhi on March 26th, 2024.

National Youth Day Celebration - 2022
12th January 2022, morning at 6.31 am the exact time of birth of Swami Vivekananda, Arati was performed with blowing of Conch shells. A Personality Development Camp on the Topic NATIONAL YOUTH DAY, was conducted between 9.45 am and 12.45 pm Around 221 participants mainly students participated.

Birthday Celebration of Swami Vivekananda 2021
Birthday Celebration of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, on 4th February 2021 with Special Puja, Bhajans, Homa and Discourse. Swami Kamalatmanandaji gave a special talk on The Life and the Message of Swami Vivekananda.

Significance of Kalpataru Day
Kalpataru Day is observed all over the world on 1st January of every year, by Ramakrishna devotees. The event commemorates the day on 1 January 1886, the day of the self-revelation of Sri Ramakrishna, when he became what is now popularly called the Kalpataru, “the wish-fulfilling tree.”
