Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Day- Conch Blowing Event:
We celebrated the National Youth Day (The Birthday of Swami Vivekananda according to English Calendar) on 12th January 2021. Swami Vivekananda’s 6½ foot statue was beautifully decorated near the entrance of Math Bookstall. At 6.31 a.m., Arati was performed with blowing of Conch shells. Around 40 devotees took part in the event.
National Youth Day Programme:
Owing to the ongoing covid 19 pandemics we celebrated the National Youth Day programme on a small scale. We conducted a seminar for teachers of Simmakal Sarada Vidyavanam Matric Higher Secondary School. Swami Kamalatmanandaji, Adhyaksha Maharaj and Swami Tatprabhanandaji address the audience.
All were served cooked prasad at the end of the function.
