We are delighted to invite you to the grand celebration of Sri Sri Durga Puja (Navaratri) at Sri Ramakrishna Math, Madurai. The event will be held during the auspicious days of Navaratri, from 15th to 24th October 2023.
Sri Durga Puja especially known as Navaratri in Tamil Nadu, was celebrated grandly in our Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, from 26th September 2022 to 5th October 2022. Special Talk, Chanting, Bhajan and Special puja were conducted.
Madurai Math observes the Navaratri festival from 26th September to 5th October 2022. The worship of Divine Mother Sri Sri Durga will be performed during Navaratri days with Puja, Chanting of Devi Mahatmyam, Bhajan, Lecture, Pushpanjali and Arati.
On October 13, Maha Ashtami day was celebrated with a special puja following Homam and special lecture. Chanting of Sri Devi Mahatmyam (Chandi) and singing of Bhajans were performed by monastics. After all these programmes, cooked prasad was distributed to around 290 devotees. at the end.
