On Sunday, April 7th, 2024, Ramakrishna Math Madurai held a special program in honor of the Most Revered Srimat Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj, the 16th President of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, who attained Mahasamadhi on March 26th, 2024.
Nearly 300 devotees participated in the program, which featured special puja, devotional singing (bhajans), Homa, and enlightening discourses by Swami Vimokshanandaji Maharaj and Swami Sathyaprabanandaji Maharaj. The program culminated with a special Arati to Sri Ramakrishna and Pushpanjali to Revered Maharaj's photo kept in front of the the shrine. Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch at the end of the event.
