On January 21, 2025, Ramakrishna Math in Madurai celebrated the 163rd Jayanti (birthday) of Swami Vivekananda with a series of spiritual events. The day began at 5:00 AM with Mangala Arati, chanting, and bhajans, creating a serene atmosphere for devotees. 

A special puja started at 6:30 am.  The Temple Pradakshina, along with Namavalis and Bhajan singing, took place from 6:30 am to 7:15 am.

Breakfast was served to thirty devotees who attended the early morning session, and the morning session continued with special bhajans at 8:30 AM.

The homa, a sacred fire ritual, took place at 10:30 AM. Following this, at 11:15 AM, Swami Nityadipananda delivered a discourse on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, inspiring attendees with reflections on Swamiji's life.

A special arati was performed at 12:15 PM, marking the culmination of the morning's ceremonies. Approximately 550 devotees were served cooked prasad.

The temple reopened at 3:45 PM, and the evening session included an arati at 6:30 PM, followed by bhajans up to 8:00 PM, concluding the day's celebrations on a harmonious note.
