Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna Dev's 188th Jayanti was celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, on Tuesday, 21st February 2023. The celebrations started with Mangalarati followed by Vedic chanting and bhajans. Temple Pradakshina with Bhajans was conducted from 6:30 am to 7:30 am. Special puja began at 6:30 am and Homam was performed around 10.15 am. Bhajans were sung during the Puja time.
Spiritual Discourse on the Life and teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna was delivered by Swami Kamalatmananda. Cooked Prasad was served to around 705 devotees.
In the evening after Arati to Sri Ramakrishna, special Bhajans were sung up to 8:00 pm.
