Deepavali, the festival of lights, holds a special place in the hearts of millions. The Math observed a grand celebration with the performance of Sri Sri Kali Puja, making the occasion memorable for all attendees.
Illuminating the Temple
As the sun set, the entire temple and its surroundings were beautifully illuminated with Deeps (oil lamps) and decorative electrical string lights. The flickering lights against the night sky created a mesmerizing spectacle, setting the stage for the evening’s celebrations.
Sri Sri Kali Puja
The main event of the evening was the Sri Sri Kali Puja. This special puja was performed after the evening Arati to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna. The air was filled with devotion as bhajans were sung, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
Special Arati and Pushpanjali
At around 8:40 pm, a special Arati was performed for Sri Sri Kali Devi. This was followed by Pushpanjali, a ritual of offering flowers to the deity.
