On 22nd July 2024, we organized a Scholarship Distribution to support the poor and needy students. Scholarships worth Rs. 4,03,500/- were distributed to a total of 39 deserving students, including 20 college students and 19 school students.

On 21st July 2024, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, celebrated Guru Purnima with great devotion and enthusiasm. The event saw participation from around 700 devotees who gathered to express their gratitude and respect to their Guru.

On 05-07-2024, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, held a free notebook distribution event at Sarada Vidyalaya assembly hall. Swami Prabhupremananda presided, distributing 1375 notebooks to 175 students.

From July 6, 2024, Ramakrishna Math in Madurai will offer beginner yoga classes in the mornings and evenings from 6:00-7:00. Swami Prabhupremananda and Yoga Perumal introduced the classes. With 82 students already registered, we invite everyone to join for affordable and holistic yoga sessions.

The Ramakrishna Math, Madurai celebrated International Yoga Day from June 21-23, 2024. Events included a 45-minute yoga program by 250 students, a 3-day free yoga camp with 60 participants per session, and a 3 km awareness procession with 300 participants.

A free eye camp was organized with Aravind Eye Hospital's help on June 16, 2024. 154 patients were screened, 58 were selected for surgery, and 53 were operated on. Operated patients were given ration kits with essentials.

Swami Kamalatmananda steps down after 24 years of service. A heartfelt farewell & warm welcome to Swami Nityadipananda as the new Adhyaksha marked by speeches, well-wishers & over 800 devotees!

During the Azhagar procession passing through Reserve Line area (near Madurai Math), we distributed 800 liters of refreshing buttermilk to around 3500 persons for two days.

On Sunday, April 7th, 2024, Ramakrishna Math Madurai held a special program in honor of the Most Revered Srimat Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj, the 16th President of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, who attained Mahasamadhi on March 26th, 2024.
