On Sunday, March 22, 2026, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, hosted a spiritually enriching Japa Yagnam from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The program commenced with soulful Bhajans, followed by a profound discourse by Swami Nityadipananda, who emphasized that chanting the name of God is the most accessible path to spiritual attainment in the modern age.
The morning was carefully structured into three intensive Japa and meditation sessions, beginning with a 45-minute practice at 9:30 AM. Between sessions, devotees were treated to inspiring readings from the life and spiritual discussions of Swami Brahmananda and the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna (Tamil). After a short interval filled with devotional singing, the program reached its spiritual peak with a solemn Arati at 12:15 PM. The event concluded with Lunch Prasad, where approximately 335 devotees gathered to share a meal and carry home the peaceful vibrations of the day.
