Sri Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi in Tamil Nadu, was celebrated on Wednesday 27, August 2025, at Ramakrishna Math, Madurai with devotion and fervour. The evening programme began with Arati at 6:30 pm, followed by the soulful chanting of Vinayakar Agaval.
Special bhajans dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Ganesh continued until 8:00 pm, engaging devotees in uplifting spiritual melodies. More than 100 devotees participated in the prayers, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the bestower of wisdom.
As part of the celebration, specially prepared Kozhukattai (a traditional sweet made of rice flour with coconut and jaggery filling) was offered to Sri Ganesh and later distributed as prasadam to all the devotees, marking the joyous occasion.
