Value Education Camp for TVS Students on 6 December 2025

Ramakrishna Math, Madurai conducted a Value Education Camp for the students of TVS School on 6th December 2025, with the aim of instilling moral values, discipline, and character-building among young minds. The camp was held in a structured and engaging manner, allowing students to actively participate and learn through experience.

Participants: 124 students from TVS School.

Duration: The programme began at 10:00 AM and concluded in the afternoon following lunch.

Preparation: Light refreshments and tea were provided to the students before the formal start of the sessions.

The programme began with lighting of the lamp while chanting the Vedic Mantras, followed by bhajans, setting a calm and focused atmosphere. This was followed by sessions led by trained teachers, which included value-based talks, inspirational stories, and interactive activities designed to help students understand the importance of good conduct, responsibility, and self-confidence.

Students were also introduced to yoga practices, simple group activities, and games that emphasized teamwork, concentration, and discipline. A short film on thelife and teachings of Swami Vivekananda inspired students to aim for excellence and strong character in both academic and personal life.

To encourage continuous learning and spiritual growth, all participating students were presented with a copy of the book “Swami Vivekananda for All” in Tamil. The retreat successfully provided a valuable blend of spiritual practice, learning, and cultural engagement.
