On October 13, Maha Ashtami day was celebrated with a special puja following Homam and special lecture. Chanting of Sri Devi Mahatmyam (Chandi) and singing of Bhajans were performed by monastics. After all these programmes, cooked prasad was distributed to around 290 devotees. at the end.
Sri Ramakrishna Math, Madurai observes the Navaratri festival from 7th October to 15th October 2021. The worship of Divine Mother Sri Sri Durga will be performed during Navaratri days.. The display of dolls or Bommai Golu (பொம்மை கொலு) is arranged for display at Math's Vivekananda auditorium.
Sri Krishna Jayanti was celebrated at Madurai Ramakrishna Math, on 30th August 2021. Sri Krishna Puja, Bhajan, and Arati were performed after evening Arati to Sri Ramakrishna. Prasadam was distributed to around 100 devotees at the end.

Gurupurnima was observed at our Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, on 24th July 2021 with Special Pooja, Bhajan, Homa and Discourse. Cooked Prasadam was distributed to around 250 devotees at the end.
As part of Covid-19 relief to the people affected by Covid-19 and subsequent lock-down, today we distributed the ration kit to 248 families. The major beneficiaries include autorickshaw drivers, load man, scavengers and other daily wagers from Madurai local areas.
Ramakrishna Math, Madurai started the distribution of ration kit worth Rs.1000, to identified low-income families on 22.5.2021. We planned to distribute ration kit to 1000 identified families including Madurai corporation sweepers and Village folk artists in Madurai.
Ramakrishna Math, Madurai conducted Free Eye Camp on 21 March 2021 with the help of Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. 205 patients were screened. 55 patients have been diagnosed with cataract problems and were done cataract surgery free of cost. 45 patients received eye eyeglasses.

Maha Sivaratri was observed at our Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, on 11th March 2021. Special Pooja, and Bhajan were conducted throughout the night, from 7.00 pm to 4.00 am. Homa was performed early morning around 4.00 am.
