Arati and Conch blowing ceremony:
Ramakrishna Math Madurai, celebrated the National Youth Day (The Birthday of Swami Vivekananda according to English Calendar) on 12th January 2023. Swami Vivekananda’s statue in front of Math campus was beautifully decorated. Morning at 6.33 am the exact time of birth of Swami Vivekananda, Arati was performed with blowing of Conch shells and chanting of prayer on Trimoorthies Around 40 devotees took part in the event.
Youth Convention:
We invited 14 institutions to participate in the National youth day programme. Around 1140 students (Higher secondary and college students) participated in this event. Swami Kamalatmananda, Swami Shivayogananda of Chinmaya Mission and Srimati Padmavathi, secretary of Sri Ramakrishna Primary school, Sivagangai, were the resource persons. We have distributed a Tamil book - “Veera Ilaignargalukku”, to the participating students.
