The 170th Jayanti (birthday) puja of Holy Mother Sri Sri Sarada Devi was celebrated in our Madurai Math on Thursday 15th December 2022. The celebrations started with Mangalarati followed by Vedic chanting and bhajans. Temple Pradakshina with Bhajans was conducted from 6:30 am to 7:20 am. Special puja began at 6:30 am and Homam was performed around 10.15 am. Bhajans were sung during the Puja time. Discourse on the Life and Teachings of Sri Sarada Devi was delivered by Swami Kamalatmananda. After the Arati at 12:45 pm, the cooked Prasad was served to around 650 devotees at the end.
After evening Arati, special Bhajans and Sri Sarada Devi Nama Sankeertanam were sung up to 8:00 pm.
