Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, observed Sri Krishna Jayanti (Janmashtami) on Friday, September 4, 2026, with devotional programs.
The evening program began at 6:00 PM with the chanting of Sri Shyam Nama Sankirtanam. Following the regular evening Arati, a special puja dedicated to Lord Sri Krishna was performed alongside the singing of Sri Krishna bhajans.
At around 8:20 PM, a special Arati took place. Devotees then participated in offering flowers (Pushpanjali) to Bhagavan Sri Krishna while chanting the Krishna mantra.
Approximately 80 devotees attended the celebration, and Prasadam was distributed to all.
