Ramakrishna Math Madurai observed Sri Krishna Jayanti (Janmashtami) on Saturday, 16 August 2025. The programme began after the regular evening Arati with a special puja to Lord Sri Krishna, a discourse on His life and teachings, and Sri Krishna bhajans.
Around 8:20 pm, a special Arati was erformed, after which devotees offered flowers (Pushpanjali) to Bhagavan Sri Krishna while chanting the Krishna mantra. Over 100 devotees attended the program, the Prasadam was served to all.
