The sacred occasion of Guru Purnima was observed with devotion and enthusiasm at Ramakrishna Math, Madurai on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. The day’s program began with Special Puja, followed by soulful Bhajans and a traditional Homa.
A profound discourse on Guru Purnima was delivered by Swami Nityadipananda, highlighting the significance of the Guru in spiritual life. The celebrations culminated in a Special Arati, filling the atmosphere with divine vibrations.
“The Guru is the living bridge between the seeker and the Divine. Through surrender, devotion, and service, the disciple receives the Guru’s grace, which alone leads to true realization.”
Around 730 devotees joyfully partook of the cooked prasadam served after the morning events. In the evening, following Sandhya Arati, a special bhajan session was held, continuing until 8:00 p.m., bringing the day’s observances to a blissful close.
