The 187th Jayanti (birthday) puja of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna was celebrated in our Madurai Math on Friday 04th march 2022. The celebrations started with Mangalarati followed by Vedic chanting and bhajans. Temple Pradakshina with Bhajans was conducted from 6:30 am to 7:20 am. Special puja began at 7 am and Homam was performed around 10.15 am. Bhajans were sung during the Puja time. Discourse on the Life and Teachings of Sri Ramakrishna was delivered by Swami Kamalatmananda. Cooked Prasad was served to around 400 devotees.
Special Bhajans was sung after evening Arati, up to 8:00 pm.
