On 26th July 2025, a special training session on Vedic Mathematics was held at our campus. The programme began at 10:00 am with an introduction, followed by a group discussion on the significance of the subject.
Under the guidance of Dr. M. Nagaraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Vivekananda College, participants explored the syllabus of Vedic Maths for Classes III to VIII. Dr. Nagaraj demonstrated various techniques to simplify mathematical calculations and make learning engaging for students.
A total of 30 teachers from various schools, along with our own faculty members, took part in the session enthusiastically, gaining valuable insights to apply in their classrooms.
