Holistic Value Education with Devotion, Discipline, and Fun
On February 21, 2025, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, conducted a Value Education Programme for the 5th standard students of TVS Nursery and Primary School, Madurai. The full-day event, held from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 221 students.
The camp aimed to inspire moral and spiritual development in young minds through a variety of engaging sessions. The students were introduced to the inspiring life stories of Sri Ramakrishna (Guru Maharaj), Sri Sarada Devi (Holy Mother), and Swami Vivekananda, instilling in them the values of faith, purity, strength, and service.
A teacher from our school led a joyful session on bhajans, encouraging the students to sing devotional songs with enthusiasm. Swami Arkaprabhananda of Madurai Math conducted an insightful session by narrating moral stories drawn from Indian tradition and the lives of great personalities.
To further enrich the experience, the children watched a video on the life of Swami Vivekananda, along with motivational video clips designed to inspire discipline, courage, and a positive attitude. The students also enjoyed yoga sessions and a variety of interactive games, making the day both educational and fun.
