The annual Chithirai Festival at the Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwarar Temple fills the streets of Madurai with immense spiritual joy and festive energy. Guided by our core ethos of Shiva Seva (service to humanity as worship), Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, was privileged to participate in this year's celebrations by setting up a refreshing buttermilk distribution camp for visiting devotees.
As the grand Kallazhagar procession passed through the Reserve Line area—right in front of our Math premises—monks and volunteers stepped out to serve the thousands of walking pilgrims navigating the summer heat.
