Recitation of whole Thiruvasagam  30 August 2026

On August 30, 2026, Ramakrishna Math in Madurai hosted the Thiruvasagam Mutrothal, a sacred and spiritually enriching event dedicated to the worship of Lord Siva. This devotional gathering centred around the complete recitation of the Thiruvasagam, a revered collection of Tamil hymns composed by the 9th-century Shaiva poet-saint Manikkavasagar.

The event commenced at 9:00 AM and concluded at 1:30 PM, drawing participation from hundreds of devotees who joined in the collective chanting. 

To mark the conclusion of the event, cooked Prasadam was lovingly served to around  350 participants. The Thiruvasagam Mutrothal continues to be a cherished tradition, promoting spiritual growth and cultural heritage in Tamil Nadu.
