Kalpataru Day 2021
Ramakrishna Math, Madurai celebrated the Kalpataru Day, a day-long programme on Friday, 1st January 2021. On this day Special Puja to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna was performed in the temple. At the same time, Bhajans on Sri Ramakrishna were rendered by monastics and devotees in the prayer hall. Homa was started around 10:15 a.m. and it was over by 11:00 a.m. Swami Kamalatmanandaji gave a special talk on the Significance of Kalpataru Day. After the talk Special Arati was performed and Prasad was distributed devotees.
Temple was open for devotees to spend time on Japa and meditation at 02:45 p.m., the auspicious time when Sri Ramakrishna, revealed Himself and blessed the devotees on January 1st 1886.
