Distribution of Ration Kits to visually impaired persons
On 3rd June 2023, Ramakrishna Math Madurai distributed aid to 22 visually impaired persons. The aid distribution was inaugurated by Swami Kamalatmananda. The beneficiaries received a free ration of rice, semolina, Toor dhal, tamarind, Sambar powder, Edible oil and Biscuits. They also received Rs.500/- cash each. In addition, the children from blind persons' family were given notebooks, cloth material for school uniform and school bag.
The Ramakrishna Math Madurai expressed its gratitude to all the donors and volunteers who made this event possible. The Math also prayed for the well-being and happiness of all the visually impaired persons and their families. The Math hoped that this gesture of compassion and service would inspire others to follow the example of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda.
