Give Wings to Devotion: Support a Lift for Ramakrishna Math, Madurai!
For years, the sacred vibrations of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, inaugurated in 1998 by the revered Swami Ranganathananda, have uplifted countless hearts. Now, we seek your support to make its spiritual embrace accessible to all.
Accessing our temple on the first floor involves a 25-step climb, a significant obstacle for our elderly, differently-abled devotees, and visiting senior monks. This difficulty is keenly felt during peak times like Jayanti and special pujas, preventing some eager devotees from fully participating and experiencing the temple's sanctity. Instead, they can only listen to the proceedings from outside.
To enable more devotees to benefit from the serene atmosphere of the temple and to have easy darshan, we envision installing a modern, 8-passenger lift (elevator) at the Math. This essential addition will:
- Ease access for all devotees to the temple.
- Allow more individuals to fully participate in pujas and darshan.
- Ensure our revered senior monks can visit without difficulty.
- Extend the reach of the Math's spiritual offerings to a wider community.
The estimated cost for this vital project is INR 14 lakhs.
