Thiruvilakku Puja, Illumination of temple and singing Sri Rama Nama Sankirtanam
As part of the special observance commemorating the consecration of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, Ramakrishna Math Madurai organised the spiritually enriching Thiruvilakku Puja, a traditional Lamp worship at Ramakrishna Math Sarada Vidyalaya on 22-1-2024, at 6:00 PM.
Thiruvilakku Puja saw enthusiastic participation from the students of 3rd and 4th standard girls at Sarada Vidyalaya. A total of 71 students actively engaged in the rituals, accompanied by the participation of 81 mothers of students, bringing the overall count to 151 individuals.
In addition to Thiruvilakku Puja, the temple prayer hall and front were adorned with the warm glow of oil lamps, creating a visually stunning and spiritually uplifting ambience. The flickering flames served as a symbol of divine light, contributing to the sanctity of the observance.
Following the evening arati, Sri Ramanama Sankirtanam and special Bhajans on Lord Sri Rama were sung. Devotees gathered to participate in lighting the lamps and singing the devotional songs, creating an atmosphere of unity and spiritual fervour.
The entire event encapsulated the essence of devotion and celebration, honouring the consecration of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
