On August 11, 2024, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai, organized the Thiruvasagam Mutrothal, a deeply spiritual event dedicated to the worship of Lord Siva. The Thiruvasagam Mutrothal is a revered devotional practice that involves the complete recitation of the Thiruvasagam, a collection of Tamil hymns composed by the 9th-century Shaiva poet-saint, Manikkavasagar.
The event began at 8:45 am and concluded at 1:30 pm, with 300 devoted participants joining in the recitation. Following the program, cooked Prasadam was served to all attendees, marking the conclusion of this spiritually uplifting gathering.
