In the first phase of our flood relief mission, we reached out to over 1200 individuals in Perur, Pottalpatti Parakirama Pandi, Ambethkar Nagar, and neighboring areas. The flood-affected communities, cut off from the outside world, have been grappling with dire circumstances, lacking clean water and electricity.
Immediate Assistance Provided:
Essential provisions distributed:
1300 kg of rice
250 kg of lentils (dhal)
10 kg of salt
20 liters of cooking oil
Urgent medical supplies distributed:
1000 tablets of Paracetamol (650mg)
500 tablets of Amoxicillin (250mg)
Impact:
Our critical supplies have had a tangible impact, offering sustenance and addressing immediate health concerns for over 550 families we've reached so far.
The initiation of Flood Relief Service - Phase 1 on December 20, 2023, marked a crucial step in providing immediate relief to the flood-affected areas, specifically in Tirunelveli district.
